Q : For a regular lobe piercing' would it be best to get 20g and 8mm?
Most regula lobe piercings are either 20g or 22g. As for the length, it varies depending on the thickness of your lobe and you should probably get it measured for accuracy.
Q : Will this fit over a 1 mm wide stud?
Your question is unclear. 1mm wide stud or 1mm pin? ti500P is a threadless titanium post that fits the pin size .47mm (25 gauge) or less. It has nothing to do with stud size.
