How to open when the ring is too tight
Q : Would this be a good ring for ear
Yes, this ring is mostly used for ear. 100% hypoallergenic G23 solid titanium.
Q : Is the gold version of this anodized or plated? Will the 18 ga 8 mm rings in gold be back in stock? Or are they not available at all? Thanks
Gold color is electro anodized over G23 implant grade solid titanium. This gold anodized color lasts longer than gold plated and 100% hypoallergenic. 18G 5/16" (8mm) will be back in stock within 24 hours. We're in the process of anodizing :)
Q : Can I find this in 20g?
18G is the thinnest gauge we can make with G23 titanium. We do have 20G in 316L surgical steel.
Q : "Steel" just means a high polish color right? Sorry if this is a stupid question
The steel color is the one that is the silver colored one. The first one in the picture.
Q : Can I use this ring for lobe piercings as well' or is that not recommended?
Yes, you can use it anywhere as long as it fits.
Q : Is this anodized or not? "Electro anodized over titanium" implies plating. Please clarify in concrete terms. Thank you.
Gold, Black, Rainbow, and Rose colors are anodized over G23 solid titanium.
Q : I always heard you can't get black from titanium with electricity. Am I wrong?
Not true, Electro-anodizing in black color can be done. https://www.titaniumfinishing.com/capabilities/titanium-anodize-colors/
Q : Will this come in a 20g ?
Sorry, G23 titanium does not come with 20G but we do have 20g in 316L surgical steel at https://bodyjewelryfactory.com/o251.html
Q : Can't figure out how to open it to put in ear
Slightly press the opening of the seamless down while pulling it apart and it should open. The smaller diameter ones are a bit difficult to insert and close unless you are a seasoned wearer of this type of jewelry and most customers have them installed by professional piercers who can maneuver the item with ease.
Q : Final got open now can't get to close
Closing the items are a bit more challenging for the smaller diameters and are mostly installed by professional pierces. You have to slightly push down the hinge and then insert it into the groove. We highly recommend that you seek the services of a professional piercer who can easily install the items for you.
Q : is this good for sensitive noses?
Yes, it is implant-grade hypoallergenic solid titanium.
Q : Would these be good for a piercing site that is still healing?
Yes, this solid titanium is intended for initial piercings or people with hypersensitivity.
