G23 Solid Titanium Hinged Seamless Ring features an almost undetectable seam and secured by hinged click in to close and open. This is most versatile seamless hoop ring for any piercing areas including the septum, earlobe, upper ear cartilage, Tragus, Helix, Conch, and nose.
What is G23 Titanium?
G23 solid titanium is by far the top choice for body piercings, and can be safely used for initial piercings. Implant grade titanium G23 (Ti6al4v-ELI) is the material used in surgical implants, is biocompatible (friendly with your body), much lighter than surgical steel, resistant to body fluids and 100% nickel free.
It pops open and snaps closed by fingers, it holds strong enough to not open on its own but isn't too hard To open.
Find the segment of the ring right before the little hinge and pull it up.
If you look close the hinged piece has a little dome shaped ball at the end and it snaps in the rest of the ring.
Grab the hinged segment of the clicker ring, slide it up to meet the other edge of the ring and “snap” or “click” it into place.
All clicker rings have a hinge and segment that is easily hidden when closed.
Yes, this ring is mostly used for ear. 100% hypoallergenic G23 solid titanium.
Q : Is the gold version of this anodized or plated? Will the 18 ga 8 mm rings in gold be back in stock? Or are they not available at all? Thanks
Gold color is electro anodized over G23 implant grade solid titanium. This gold anodized color lasts longer than gold plated and 100% hypoallergenic. 18G 5/16" (8mm) will be back in stock within 24 hours. We're in the process of anodizing :)
Q : Can I find this in 20g?
18G is the thinnest gauge we can make with G23 titanium. We do have 20G in 316L surgical steel.
Q : "Steel" just means a high polish color right? Sorry if this is a stupid question
The steel color is the one that is the silver colored one. The first one in the picture.
Q : Can I use this ring for lobe piercings as well' or is that not recommended?
Yes, you can use it anywhere as long as it fits.
Q : Is this anodized or not? "Electro anodized over titanium" implies plating. Please clarify in concrete terms. Thank you.
Gold, Black, Rainbow, and Rose colors are anodized over G23 solid titanium.
Q : I always heard you can't get black from titanium with electricity. Am I wrong?
Slightly press the opening of the seamless down while pulling it apart and it should open. The smaller diameter ones are a bit difficult to insert and close unless you are a seasoned wearer of this type of jewelry and most customers have them installed by professional piercers who can maneuver the item with ease.
Q : Final got open now can't get to close
Closing the items are a bit more challenging for the smaller diameters and are mostly installed by professional pierces. You have to slightly push down the hinge and then insert it into the groove. We highly recommend that you seek the services of a professional piercer who can easily install the items for you.
Q : is this good for sensitive noses?
Yes, it is implant-grade hypoallergenic solid titanium.
Q : Would these be good for a piercing site that is still healing?
Yes, this solid titanium is intended for initial piercings or people with hypersensitivity.
