We guarantee all precious metals used in our gold and platinum products that have 14K gold, platinum, and diamonds in the product name and description are guaranteed to meet the level of purity and all diamond products are authentic, conflict-free, and 100% ethically sourced genuine natural diamonds.
14K SOLID GOLD
All our gold piercing jewelry is made of 14K solid gold (no vermeil, plated, or filled), material that is highly recommended by APP (Association of Professional Piercers). Gold higher than 18K is not adequate for body jewelry because it can easily be scratched or nicked.
Q : Hi so I ordered a pair of these hoops on 8mm they were small and I'm returning them but I want a bigger size what is the next size up.im using them for a conch piercing
A :

The next size up from 1/4" is 5/16".

Q : Is this price for the a pair or a single earring?
A :

All items are sold individually and it is noted and marked right under or above the "ADD TO CART" button.  Thank you for the inquiry.

Q : What does gauge mean? Thanks.
A :

Gauge is the unit of measurement for wire or post.

Q : Are they plated gold or solid?
A :

This item is 14K solid gold. We do not carry any plated or gold vemeil (thick plated over silver).

Q : Is it possible to get this hoop in a 7mm ?
A :

This hoop is available in 6, 8, and 10mm.

Q : Can I wear this hoop as a nose ring (nostril)?
A :

Yes, you can wear this if your nose piercing is 18 gauge. If you have thinner gauge (20 or 22 gauge) piercing, then we recommend https://bodyjewelryfactory.com/gold192.html

Q : I was wondering if you can wear this as a nose ring? I currently wear an 18g 5/16 nose ring. But the metal is irritating my piercing and I was recommended to try solid gold or white gold. Will this style work? Thanks!
A :

Yes, you can wear 18g 5/16" as a nose hoop.

Q : What mm size would you recommend for a 16g conch piercing?
A :

The common size for the conch hoop is 10mm to 12mm.   Please visit any local piercing studios to get the exact measurement before placing an order.

Q : What size would you use for Tragus?
A :

8 mm is the standard size for most tragus piercings.

Q : Does the 14k gold jewelry have nickel in it? Is it hypoallergenic ?
A :

All our 14k solid gold jewelry is nickel-free and hypoallergenic. Please see the product description.

Q : What is the width of these earrings (the gem front--not the post part). 1mm? 1.5mm? thanks!
A :

1mm for 18 gauge and 1.2mm for 16 gauge rings.

Q : I am looking at this for a bottom lobe piercing. What size would i need?
A :

8mm should fit snuggly to your earlobe.

Q : How does this mechanism close? Haven't been able to accomplish that
A :

It pops open and snaps closed by fingers, it holds strong enough to not open on its own but isn't too hard To open.

To Open:
Find the segment of the ring right before the little hinge and pull it up.

To Close:
If you look close the hinged piece has a little dome shaped ball at the end and it snaps in the rest of the ring. Grab the hinged segment of the clicker ring, slide it up to meet the other edge of the ring and “snap” or “click” it into place.

All clicker rings have a hinge and segment that is easily hidden when closed.

Q : Hello' I'm wondering what you would recommend for a helix piercing (mid-top outer) ? I don't want it to hug too tight but not super big either' a little 'flop' is ok. Also' I'm looking at the gold 8mm' but what is 'gauge'?
A :

When it comes to the hoop size of helix piercings there is no one size fits due to an individual's physical anatomy and the location of your piercings. Please measure the inside diameter of your current jewelry that fits well or visit any local piercing studios to get the exact measurement.

18G is the most common size for helix piercings these days.  To find your size of diameter at home, measure the distance from a pierced hole to the edge of your ear, and add 1 to 2mm to the measurement.

Q : What size would you recommend for a nostril piercing?
A :

8 mm is the most common hoop size for nostril piercing but it depends on an individual's physical anatomy.  Please measure the current jewelry that fits properly or visit any local piercing studios to get the exact measurement.

Q : I wear an 18 gauge 1/4 inch nose hoop. What mm would that be in this clicker ring? 6 or 7 mm? Thank you.
A :

You could go with either 6 or 7 but we would recommend the 7mm if you prefer a slightly roomier ring.
